FIBER-Festival Day 4

REMINDER: Last day to visit our exhibition.  Opening times: Sun 14 May: 10.00—17:00

Our last festival day has started!

Yesterday we kicked off our first symposium day at De Brakke Grond, where we took a deep dive into the work of visionary makers and thinkers. We listened to inspiring talks about sound, worldbuilding and performative strategies.

Saturday evening we explored the Oedipus Brewing Taproom with vibrant sounds, colorful beers and delicious food. We witnessed the special performance Pound It! by Kexin Hao, Rachwill Breideland and Tingyi Jiang in which the pounding movements in the traditional production of sticky rice cake becomes an experimental percussion instrument.

Pyruvicac.id and Bert Bert treated us with a DJ-set filled with experimental sounds.

We ended the day with our annual club night at Garage Noord, filled with rave-adventures and unexpected sonic avenues.

Our Symposium day 2 just started. We will explore emerging initiatives and mindsets on how we can re-organise an increasingly fragmented world. Are you not able to attend the symposium in real-life?

Tune in with our livestream (€3,-).
