Opening Concert at Het Concertgebouw

Yesterday we celebrated the start of the festival with our Opening Concert at Het Concertgebouw.

Together with entree we explored adventurous crossovers between the world of classical sounds and spherical electronic music. Perila opened the evening with “Evaporation", an immersive sonic exploration resulted in soothing soundscapes. Alliyah Enyo surprised us with her voice, using multi-layered soundscapes resulting in emotional experiences full of echoes and resonances. Aleksandra Słyz ended the evening together with Judith Hamann on the cello and Gerard Lebik on alto saxophone. They brought us a synthetical piece full of straining drone sounds, leading to unexpected structures of microtonality and resonance.

Today we started with our Audiovisual Art Assembly programme (Sold Out)

This afternoon (17:00-21:00) we invite you to come over to Oedipus brewing for a programme full of vibrant sounds, colorful beers and delicious food. Stop by for a beer and enjoy the DJ sets of Castle and Loradeniz. (Free entry)

We will end the day with our music & performance programme at Noordwaards (21:00-05:00) Submerge yourself in an international selection of experimental live performances. The programme will evolve from ambient to harder sounds and beyond.
